MICROBLADING Before Care Instructions
In order to achieve optimal results from your eyebrow microblading appointment, the following before care instructions must be adhered to. It is very important to read and understand the before care requirements PRIOR to booking your appointment. This will help you determine how far in the future your appointment needs to be scheduled based on your individual situation.
No alcohol or caffeine 24 hours before procedure
Stop taking aspirin, niacin, vitamin E, fish oil, CoQ10 and ibuprofen 24 hours before procedure
If desired, any brow waxing/shaping or tinting should be done 3 days before procedure
No Botox treatments should be done 30 days before or 30 days after procedure
A microblading touch up is to be scheduled 6 weeks following initial appointment. No Botox prior to a touch up also applies.
No chemical peels 60 days before or after procedure (brows will peel quicker due to chemicals traveling under the skin)
Retinols/Retin-A or other anti-aging/acne creams, or serums containing acids as these will fade brows prematurely
Do not work out or sweat heavily the day of the procedure or 7 days after
Do not tan or have a sunburned face the day of the procedure
We will not be able to microblade over any blemishes, sores, and moles in or around the brow area
***Appointments typically last 1 hour 45 min (procedure is about 45 min). Babies/ children cannot be present during your appointment. Please make necessary arrangements in advance. In addition, guests are welcome to sit in our lobby but are not permitted in the studio.
